[the physalia has activated battle seraph mode.]
a powerful sonic wave pushed out the black sun by a humanoid being that came from inside of the gigantic physalia. the humanoid being looked more like a female human with the bell of a jellyfish. the sigil of kindness is also etched on top of the bell which glowed in a golden light. the physalia also has tendrils coming out of its bell, but these looked more like elongated wings with a mix of strands made of light. the humanoid body is also a bit translucent to the point that it would have melted into the water if there were no light being emitted by its body. the physalia also has two large tendrils that it uses as an extra limb but one could see two halos acting as rings. the other halo is on its neck acting like a choker made of light.
"why is the enemy hot?" altum stated which made the others give him stares filled with judgement.
the size of the enemy might have shrunk a little because it was inside of the giant body earlier, but it was still bigger than them. the enemy was still ten meters tall and could even be labeled as a giant compared to them. the physalia's humanoid face did not have eyes as it is still a monster even if it took on the form it has now. the battle seraph mode is basically a form that is more suited for combat as a way to defend themselves.
unlike with the precipice of patience that only activated its battle seraph mode when it lost a chunk of its durability, the physalia immediately entered it when it was threatened. it seems that its ordinary form does not have the ability to do combat. adrian and the others also felt this earlier as the only form of attack that the physalia did is via its tendrils.
burst of dark spheres suddenly appeared around the physalia and exploded when one of its tendrils made of light touched it lightly. the explosion of that particular dark sphere also made the others explode in a chain reaction. the physalia showed an expression of pain as it was not just a monster from the under depths but also a monster containing light elemental energy.
"great job!" altum stated as he launched his anchor once again and this time it was able to wrap around the ankle of the physalia.
the physalia tried to swat altum away, but he suddenly looked bigger than his previous form. altum's divine weapon came from the god dagon himself, and it allowed him to contend with monsters that live in the depths of the oceans and seas. altum's power increases the deeper and longer he is in any body of water which means that he is the one you would always want when there is an underwater enemy.
"hurry! it is struggling and it is getting too straining just trying to make it immobile." altum stated as the physalia started to thrash about and even tried hitting the chain of the anchor.
adrian suddenly appeared next to the physalia which actually shocked the enemy. if the enemy was a golem like before then it would not have reacted the same way. adrian really felt that enemies with emotions are easier to combat as they would be flustered. adrian held out his hand and slammed something at the chest of the physalia.
the physalia felt some strange energy enter its chest and tried to rip it out of her body, but it was too late. adrian smiled as he vanished once more before warning the others to gain some distance. with a snap of his finger, the space around and inside of the body of the physalia started to be shredded.
