dodu melted the created marble hands and all of the soulbounds relentlessly attacked the precipice of patience. adrian finished chanting the spell but decided to save it instead of releasing it immediately. he knew that the attack will not be effective unless the spell would be fired up close. ark even used his own limit break: warrior skill to make his attacks fiercer but the enemy either absorbs it or dodges.
"it always absorbs the attacks as if it does not have that barrier. how are we going to defeat it?" ark asked as he retreated a bit since he almost ran out of stamina.
"any ideas?" adrian stated as he looked towards the baby angel gabriel that is currently being nestled at the tree on top of wisteria's back.
"i am as astounded as you are. i did not even know that i have that kind of power. all i had back then was the power to become stronger in proportion to the time of the battle." the baby angel gabriel stated.
"is that even possible? how can a being that absorbed something be more powerful than the original?" ark asked adrian while he deliberated on how to defeat the precipice of patience.
the precipice of patience is no longer focusing on adrian as of now because all of his soulbounds were attacking it. there are only a few minutes left before all of them are sealed as the limit break: summoner skill is about to vanish. adrian did not want to use the domain skills of his soulbounds because the enemy is not a living being as it would not be totally affected by the status ailments.
"it is possible if there is a being that limited the growth of said souls. i have a hunch that the goddess luminaria intentionally weakened all of you so that you cannot rebel like the others. she was more worried about losing her servants than your own personal growth." adrian stated which hit a nerve on the baby angel gabriel's wing.
"even when she is gone, she is still a pain to deal with. at least, i can now say all of my thoughts instead of just saying it in my mind. when it comes to defeating it, i also have no idea except for what it will do." the baby angel gabriel stated.
"kenos! connect us via telepathy!" adrian commanded as he connected all their minds as the only soulbounds that remained were kimat, sirius, and kenos.
"i have a way to disable it." the baby angel gabriel stated which made adrian raise his eyebrows as the next conversations were now via telepathy.
"let us do that then." adrian stated.
"i will be the one to do most of the work." ark stated as he sighed but he slapped his face to wake his spirit up.
ark suddenly got blasted with a powerful pillar of light as his entire body is now clad in gold and silver armor. the wings on his back are now of an angel while three halos appeared on top of his head. he also has shields that are attached to his arms as they can also double as sharp blades that could be swung.
"let us go, guild leader!" ark shouted to hype himself up as he charged towards the precipice of patience. he charged with his two shield arms in front of his face to defend against any
attacks.
"chrono shift!" adrian stated as he made ark fly faster. he even stacked three more to make sure that he will arrive at his destination.
the precipice of patience deployed its sigil of patience, but it was unable to stop ark from being inside of the barrier. the precipice of patience could only look at ark as the latter breached the barrier. still, the precipice of patience did not care as ark cannot do anything since there is another barrier around its body.
"let's go, baby angel attack!" ark stated as behind the two shield arms is actually the baby angel gabriel.
"i am now going to take back what is mine, stone monster!" the baby angel gabriel stated as he touched the sigil of the precipice of patience.
