"Found it!" One of the masked assailants of the temple stated as he suddenly took out an item that is filled with some sort of cursed aura.
The cursed item is then equipped by the masked assailant, and it devoured his arm. The arm of the that was devoured is then replaced by the cursed item The cursed arm then looked incredibly terrifying as it is made of teeth and rotten flesh. This cursed arm is then used to destroy the crystal floor of the temple as it took out a stone from inside of it.
"We have taken the item. Get ready for extraction." The masked assailant stated as he proceeded to cut his own arm connected to the cursed arm.
The cursed arm suddenly lost all vitality and proceeded to turn into a cage that held the crystal that was taken from the floor. The other masked assailants did not even flinch when one of them cut their arms willingly as if this was already expected and normal. The cursed arm became a cursed cage for the crystal as its power that pulsated suddenly dimmed own.
"The others are ready. We just need to get to the prepared destination." One of the masked assailants stated as all of them are about to leave the temple.
"You shall not go anywhere." A voice hidden in the sands suddenly stated as a figure of a god emerged from it.
"The God of Storm Seth! Impossible!" The masked assailants stated as they have been given a report that the God of Storm Seth has already ascended to the divine realm.
"That is an item that mortals should never wield." The God of Storm Seth stated as his eyes glowed and enclosed the entire area in a sandstorm which made the masked assailants to flee. "Release the monster juice!" One the monster assailants shouted as a contact from the outside received the orders.
About a dozen or so masked assailants suddenly released some sort of pink dust that made the horde approaching the city even more frenzied. The dangerous monster horde is now enraged as they used a powerful monster bait that is more potent than the one that is circulating in the market today. Using a more potent monster bait called monster juice is banned by all of the kingdoms in the world due to it inciting a large number of monsters trampling over the area it is scattered.
"The beast horde is difficult to deal with even with my own power. You should do it yourself so that your visit here will not be wasted." The God of Storm Seth stated as a being made of shadows suddenly formed in front of him that took the form of a beautiful lady with serpentine alure.
"Just say that you need help. I shall deal with the horde while you deal with the Primordial Beast of Wrath that is keeping Horus busy. We are too far from our Sanctuaries to use our full power after all. We should at least capture that thing and extract all of the information that we need." The woman that is clad in dark gold armor stated.
"If that is what you wish, Apophis. You do outrank me in terms of power." The God of Storms Seth stated.
"You were much cuter when you opposed me." The Goddess Apophis stated as she vanished.
The Goddess Apophis appeared on top of the city and grimaced when she saw the destroyed parts of it. She also felt all the negative energies of the people, but she did not falter. She used that negative energy to conjure a serpent beast so large that it could devour the city.
"Devour them to appease your anger." The Goddess Apophis stated as the large serpent suddenly charged towards the large beast horde and devoured everything in its path.
The beast horde would have started to scatter if they saw the large snake devouring them but did not. The crazed beast horde has lost all reason as they were overstimulated to the point that some even trampled on their members just to advance. Seeing the reaction of the beast horde, the Goddess Apophis had no choice but to use her own energy to create a powerful snake made of pure darkness.
"Darkness shall be fed." The Goddess Apophis stated as she commanded the snake made of darkness to devour the beast horde coming from the other side.
Some sort of fatigue could be seen on her face as she was too far from their sanctuary. She would have easily squashed a large beast horde like this if she could access her full power, but she could not. She was too far from her main temple and could only absorb some faith from the people here that are praying for protection.
"They should also be having a difficult time against that primordial beast given that we lost much of our energy trying to arrive here." The Goddess Apophis stated as she looked down to see the battle happening below her.
The God of the Skies Horus and the God of Storms Seth were both battling the Primordial Beast of Wrath. It was mainly the God of the Skies Horus attacking while the God of the Storms Seth provided support, but they were indeed having a difficult time. They might be powerful gods but their energies that are stabilizing their bodies are almost depleted. Another factor is that the western continent is now full of primordial energy which is beneficial for the Primordial Beast of Wrath which is why it is becoming stronger.
