Chapter 2320 I Can Feel Your Greed

Sirius had already released his domain earlier upon Adrian's command. The command was to have him release it the moment he appears before the enemies. He also instructed Sirius to create the illusion where the merchants were located. In fact, almost all of the merchants were still passed out and those that could see them being afraid are actually all illusions created by Sirius.

This illusion even affected the perception of the Vice Leader of the Merchant Guild despite his divine blessing which is why his goddess was giving signals to him that Adrian is indeed dangerous. The only ones that are not affected by the illusion is Adrian himself and Piggy Bank since the former told Sirius to take care of the latter. Since the domain has been activated already in a secretive manner, using the most powerful spell in his arsenal was quick and easy.

Murai and the Jiangshi Shi Shi are suddenly torn apart by Sirius' full attack power. Murai is the most pitiful one as the immortal could not even process that he was torn apart before he died. He was not able to react against Sirius' attack which is why he still had that confident look on his face when his upper body dropped to the floor.

The Jiangshi Shi Shi was able to react in time as it had the instincts of monsters embedded on parts of her soul, but she is not powerful enough to completely block Sirius' attack. Unlike Murai that died by being torn in half, Sirius paid more attention to Shi Shi as she was undead. Sirius destroyed her body into more pieces that one can count. This also led to a backlash to the Jiangshi master as he spat out blood since his life force was used to create Shi Shi.

"Let us save that tormented soul from those cursed seals, Charon." Adrian commanded.

Charon nodded as his chains suddenly looked like it was gripping something invisible in the air, but the image of the souls could be seen by all when it clung to them. The sight of numerous souls with the soul of Lady Goldenclaw could be seen silently screaming in agony as they are being held by the cursed seals. Charon's chains ripped apart the cursed seals and released them from never ending torment.

The released souls looked relieved when they were freed, but they soon became vengeful spirits a few seconds after. These vengeful spirits charged towards the weakened Jiangshi Master and started ripping him apart. The vengeful spirits even destroyed the large coffin that created the undead using their souls.

"I am your master! You cannot do this to me!" The Jiangshi Master shouted as he tried protecting himself, but he is far too weakened to even do so. The sight of him being torn piece by piece made the merchants that woke up suddenly pass out again.

"Create a way for us to escape!" The fake Lady Goldenclaw shouted at the Barrier Master, but she did not receive any reply.

"What are you doing?! Do you want me to die!" The fake Lady Goldenclaw shouted again but there was still no reply from the Barrier Master.

The fake Lady Goldenclaw turned around to see the Barrier Master held by shadows and chains. The shadows made sure that the barrier master will have the same hand seal positions which made him unable to move his body the way he wants to. The chains were just there for extra measure to make sure that he is completely rooted on the ground.

"That is not the greed that I possess though. I do not care about ruling the world. Heck, I do not even care much about saving it, but it is the sworn duty of the Daemos to protect it. If the Daemos were not bound by the sacred duty, then this world would have been destroyed already.

I would rather just have the freedom and manage the territory that I already own. Do you know how stressful running such a small territory already is? Forget about the world, I am already tired just managing my own." Adrian stated as he suddenly forgot that he was supposed to be serious.

"Impossible! What is that greed then?! I am never wrong!" The fake Lady Goldenclaw stated as she thought that she could use Adrian's greed to control him, but it did not work.

"I guess even a remnant will cannot control others easily. Come with your real body next time so that I will not have to worry about you. Maybe torture would be good to get you to answer? I already observed that you could feel pain." Adrian casually mentioned.

"You can torture this body all you want but I will never talk! I am just a remnant will that is taking control of this body's motor functions. Even a being like yourself cannot extract information from me! Only gods can do so!" The fake Lady Goldenclaw stated as she laughed like a madman.

"Gods... you say?! I have the perfect place we can go to." Adrian stated as he smiled.

Adrian then looked at Sirius and then his gaze shifted to the barrier master. Sirius understood immediately and tore apart the arms of the barrier master. Without his hands that can create seals, the barrier master could no longer sustain the isolated.

"High Wizard Dore, can you get information from that one? I have a place that I need to carry this one to." Adrian stated as he grabbed the fake Lady Goldenclaw by the neck.

"We can deal with that one as you wish. We will get information from him. Where are you going though?" High Wizard Dore asked.

"Where are you taking me?!" The fake Lady Goldenclaw shouted.

"I am taking her to Hell." Adrian stated as he easily created a portal that led to Hell.
